Biosketch
Marcelino Lázaro was born in Carriazo, Cantabria (Spain), in 1972. He received Bachelor and Ph. D. degrees in Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Cantabria in 1996 and 2001, respectively.
From 1996 to 2002 he was with the Communication Engineering Departament of University of Cantabria, in Santander (Spain). In 2003 he joined the Signal Theory and Communications Department of University Carlos III of Madrid, in Leganés (Spain).
His research interest is focused on digital signal processing, machine learning, and statistical decision theory.
